Position
Amaryllis is a plant for which we choose the position of the sun and partially shaded, but sheltered from the wind.
Soil
They grow best on sandy soil and permeable. The bulbs is placed in the ground at such depth to approximately 1/3 to 1/2 bulb protrudes above the soil surface.
Planting
After planting, water the plant onions and place in a room at room temperature. It should Blossoming in about 6-8 weeks.
Care
Regular but moderate watering (preferably warm water) and multi-component fertilizer supply. After flowering flower limit watering slowly allowing the plant to retire.
STORAGE
After the initial dried up plant leaves it is advisable to cut a few inches off the bulbs and set the pot in a dry, fairly cool and shady. You can also dig up the bulbs and store in dry peat. The period of rest should last roughly around 4-6 weeks.
